My table top group played a science fiction reskin of D&D 5th edition called Hyperlanes. When we were making characters, we all rolled for a random race and the medic got cephalopod. He was vacationing when the party ran into him, on the run from the organized crime boss who ran the local bookies after we'd placed some long-shot bets and then fixed a race.
