My tabletop group and I played a science fiction reskin of D&D 5th, called Hyperlanes. I think the system had some significant balance issues but I had *such* a good time playing. My character was a Pilot and ship's captain to a sentience ship (we rolled that, it was nuts). She had a Tragic Backstory (tm) and while she was rock solid when on mission she spent every moment they were docked drunk or womanizing. Here she is causing an HR incident with the First Mate.
