Every time a convention rolls around, I start looking through my comics, picking which ones should be selected and printed out for little booklets to sell to the masses. And invariably, I look at the beginning comics and I start to shudder. Ohmigawd. They're so bad. But I love them. I love the jokes and silliness of the early comics and every time I read them I wish they were something I could feel proud of and show to other people. I love them and I hate them, all at the same time.

The issue is complicated by the fact that all my early comics have been thrown away. And I didn't start keeping high res scans until after I met Jennie. :/ Merf. So the obvious solution is to redraw them. Better art, better lettering, all of that. It would be massively time-consuming to sit down and redraw them ALL but I'm hoping to slowly reproduce my favorites. ^_^ This is the first one and I'm really pleased with how Version 2.0 turned out.
