This comic was really hard to draw. I had a similar conversation with The Naked Man where in he gave me very similar advice so I -knew- that that's what I wanted to put into the comic... But I couldn't for the life of me get it together. As you might be able to tell, the first and third panels totally painted themselves, but then the other side was pulling teeth to get out - that's why this is late. :/ On the plus side Friday's comic is -already- done, so it'll be right on time (whether I'm at my computer or not - Thanks Kevin!).

I tried a lot of new things with this comic - the wings for starters. Obviously I don't draw angels wings very often, so I'm making it up and practicing as I go along, trial and error to see how I wind up wanting them. :/ I'm not entirely happy with that but one of the reasons I put the Angel Boy in was because I needed practice drawing a male figure regularly ('cause apparently I'm not getting a steady lover again -any- time soon), and to get a chance to illustrate things that don't normally come up in the comic. It's good, because I need to draw more than just myself over and over again, or I'm never going to grow as an artist. Um. Hang in there with me. ^_^ I also inked the first panel with a brush pen and I think it turned out fairly well.
